Zara Zeitountsian is a business professional with extensive track record of entrepreneurial and marketing leadership in Russia and the U.S. as well as in Armenia. Zara started her career in an emerging banking industry in Moscow before joining Wells Fargo Bank in Los Angeles as a Corporate Relationship Manager in 1995. After receiving her MBA degree in Finance and Marketing she left her career in banking to follow an entrepreneurial path and founded, operated and managed a successful businesses in Los Angeles. She also co-founded and managed a first-time annual multi-gallery art fair in Los Angeles drawing in 6,000 attendees. She moved to Armenia in 2010 to contribute to her home country and has worked in the fields of marketing, fundraising, project management and development. She held various managerial positions at the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia, Yerevan Productions and the IDeA Foundation. Zara contributed to such large-scale projects as the Dilijan International School of Armenia and Tatev Revival Project. She is currently the Communications Director of the American University of Armenia. She served on boards of several non-profit organizations in the US, including the Museum of Contemporary Arts, Armenia Dramatic Arts Alliance and others. |
