Mihran Aroian is an entrepreneur and teacher. Mr. Aroian taught at one of the top 20 business schools in the USA – the McCombs College of Business at the University of Texas at Austin in the Department of Management. In addition, he is the faculty-in-residence for Student Judicial Services working with faculty and administrators from around the campus to improve academic integrity at the university. Mr. Aroian is also a part-time lecturer at the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University. As an entrepreneur, he has been involved in several start-up companies and has experience in the transference of technology from academia to industry. Most recently, he has been involved with two companies in the pharmaceutical industry – Science Partners, Inc. and The Bruckner Group. Mr. Aroian spent five years in the venture capital industry working for one of the largest venture capital firms in the USA – Austin Ventures. In his spare time, Mr. Aroian performs regularly with the Allandale String Quartet, works with several non-profit organizations involved in reducing domestic violence, and is chairman of the Armenian Church of Austin. Mr. Aroian is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and has an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. |
