PROFILE  Mary Hrachoohi Boghosian, Ph.D. in “Physics of Magnetic Materials” from the University of London, Imperial College of Science and Technology, London, England, and MBA in “Innovation, Technology Planning and Management” from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), School of Management and Technology, Troy, New York.  Also earned an M.S. in Physics and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Basra, College of Science, Basra, Iraq. Recently she moved to Armenia permanently, and is working as Adjunct Professor at the American University of Armenia (AUA) and at the California State University of Los Angeles (USA). She is also a visiting professor at the Yerevan State University, School of Journalism initiating and teaching a post graduate level course on the “Essentials of Creative Thinking”. At AUA she initiated and taught an undergraduate level course on “Creativity and Technological Innovation”. Previously she spent 16 years working for NASA and the Aerospace Companies leading NASA projects and studies as well as developing the first ever cost estimation methodology for costing very small satellites. At RPI she served as manager of the Materials Testing Laboratory in the Biology Department. Dr. Boghosian taught undergraduate and graduate courses at more than 5 universities in four countries, namely; Iraq, United Kingdom, USA, and Armenia. She has also initiated and taught a “Creativity and Physics” course at Woodbury University, California USA. Dr. Boghosian is the author of more than forty publications and of two inventions on space related sensors and actuators. She is a recipient of several NASA technology achievement awards, and a member of several international professional organizations.
