Degree Requirements

The MSSM requires successful completion of a minimum of 34 semester-credits. These are divided into core courses and one elective:

Required Courses (all courses 3-credits except as noted): 31 credits

  • Quantitative Tools for Management
  • Accounting for Decision-Making
  • Managerial Finance
  • Leadership in Organizations
  • Business Strategy
  • Project Management
  • Marketing Management
  • Operations Management
  • Business Analytics
  • Research Methods (1 credit)
  • Capstone (Choose: Master’s Thesis, Client Consulting, or Innovative Project)

Electives: 3-4 credits

  • Advanced Topics in Finance
  • Advanced Topics in Marketing
  • Managerial Negotiations

Students are also required to complete at least one credit environmental studies course.
