Gayane Barseghyan is an Assistant Professor at the CBE. She joined the AUA as full time faculty in 2015. She teaches Microeconomic Theory, Macroeconomic Theory, Monetary Policy and Financial Markets. Prior to joining AUA, Dr. Barseghyan held a senior economist position at the Central Bank of Armenia. She has received her PhD degree in Economics from Yerevan State University in 2013. Her research interests are in the areas of Monetary Economics and Macroeconomics. Dr. Barseghyan has received number of awards and grants for her research, as well as prizes (scholarships) while studying. |
